2023 Bond
Needville Junior High Campus
At their June 19, 2024, regular meeting, the Board of Trustees approved a Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) from Drymalla Construction for the new junior high school campus. Bid coverage was exceptional and the GMP brings the project in under budget.
The campus will be built for an initial enrollment of 1,000 students with core spaces (cafeteria, administration, library, etc.) to support a build out to 1,500 students.

Meetings with Staff continue as the design team nears completion of the Design Development phase of the project. The campus layout has been defined. The relationship between instructional and support spaces has been established. The general appearance of the new school is taking shape. Work now focuses on interior spaces and the functional elements of each space. Preliminary estimates indicate that the project is tracking in line with the budget.
